Safrix (ABN 59 540 543 076) (“Safrix”, “we”, “us”) provides enterprise investigation software. Safrix is a registered business name operated as a sole trader in Australia. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website (safrix.com) and related communications. It does not cover information our customers process within the Safrix platform as data controllers, that is governed by our customer agreements.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: when you request a demo or contact us, we collect your name, company, work email, phone number, organisation size and any message content.
- Usage and device data: when you visit, we and our analytics providers collect IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs and similar technical information.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used to operate the site and measure performance and traffic (see section 7).
3. How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange and conduct product demonstrations.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve our website and services.
- To send you information you have requested or that is relevant to your enquiry.
- To comply with our legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations, including: hosting and deployment (Vercel), transactional email (Resend), and website analytics. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia (for example, in the United States or other regions). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit and access controls. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described, or as required by law, and then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

We use privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand site usage and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality.

If you believe we have breached the APPs, please contact us first so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Our website and services are intended for business and professional use and are not directed to individuals under 18.
